This guide has two trumpet fingering charts for your convenience — a chart arranged by notes, lowest to highest, and a chart arranged by valve combinations.

You can download each chart PDF file or a PNG Image completely free.

Let's get into it.

Trumpet fingering chart (Note-by-note)

A typical trumpet fingering chart has notes arranged from middle C. The notes are arranged from lowest to highest in the chart below for clarity.

All enharmonic equivalents are included on the chart. This is indicated with an "/" in the lyrics (comments). New notes are separated with a ",". Notes are always commented lowest to highest.

You can hover over the chart to download either a .png image or a .pdf file for your reference..

Trumpet fingering chart (Valve-by-valve)

Arranged by valves, the trumpet fingering chart is not what you are typically used to, but it makes a lot more sense.

In each measure you will see what the notes look like for every valve. Just like before, the valve numbers are in parenthesis.

Each measure corresponds to a valve combination. The chart goes through all possible valve combinations on the trumpet.
